We’re rather partial to superheroes, they all have cool powers we can only dream of and live in a world where what they do really makes a difference. It must be an honour and a privilege to be a superhero but also a burden too. How many of you have imagined yourself to be Spiderman or Superman when playing as a kid. We certainly do. Alas those days are gone, so thank the lord for comic books and films that still allow us to be immersed in their special world.
Superheroes have been around since the 1930s and are still as popular as ever, a testament to their longevity.
These three bangin’ new products are inspired by the two grand daddies of DC Comics, Superman and Batman.
Superman is the greatest superhero bar none. Yep that’s right, we’ll take Superman over Gambit, Cyclops, the Silver Surfer, Spiderman and even Wolverine. Don’t misunderstand us, we’re not dissing other superheroes, we love them all, it’s just that we love Superman more. He has god-like powers, is virtually invulnerable and cares so much for others, the dude rocks. We love the original Superman films (well just the first two) and Singer’s Superman Returns released in 2006. Hopefully we’ll see a new Superman film (very very soon). For us, he doesn’t just fly, he soars!
Batman, the king of gadgets and thanks to the new Christopher Nolan Batman films he’s been returned to his rightful place as one of the most accessible (and cool) superheroes. Ok I know what you’re going to say but you only like Superman. Which is of course not true. We LOVE Batman, we went absolutely crazy over The Dark Knight and have now watched it well over 10 times. He’s human, he doesn’t have superpowers, just ninja like abilities combined with snazzy gadgets to fight the criminality in Gotham. He’s a silent guardian, a watchful protector, a dark knight.

Today we received a rather large order via our website http://www.retro36.com from a customer in Paris, France. The order was for a host of cool stuff including stocking fillers, books, a clock and USB gadget.
